Build non-interfering standalone test products
Standalone builds should work when a TXM is already installed (=dependencies are solved and all necessary libraries are installed) without using the TXM stable installation files.
This will :
- simplify TXM test procedure
- avoid files conflicts with the already installed stable versions of TXM
Solution
Change TXM product default “configuration”, “user” and “instance”
directories in order to use local files instead of the “/.TXM-X.Y.Z”
and “/TXM-X.Y.Z” directories
A Standalone build is a ZIP archive of the Eclise product build.
To test, the tester needs to :
- extract the product
- run TXM using the launcher binary file
