RCP: 0.8.0, display the creation date of a corpus in Properties command
Currently, the comment field of a corpus is pre-filled with the current date (and the current user id) to help the user to document his corpus at import time. The Properties command helps to display those informations.
When a corpus is re-imported the comment field is not pre-filled anymore, it gets its value from the previous import.
When a corpus re-imported several times during several days for import debugging, the original pre-filled date may not be accurate anymore and often the user doesn’t update manually that information.
As the creation date of a corpus is a critical information to understand which version it is, independently of accurately (or not) given comments for the corpus at import (which depend on the user), it would be useful to store and display the creation date of a corpus independently of the comment field content (and so independently of the user).
Solution
- store the last import date of a corpus at import
- display the “creation” or “last import” date of a corpus in the Properties command
Solution bonus (for annotations)
- if a corpus is annotated and those annotations are saved, then also store a “last modification” or “last annotation” date or “last annotated” date of the day the annotations are saved, and display it with the Properties command
