UI Autodoc, editors&view toolbar buttons tooltips must be the name of the command
Currently the main toolbar buttons tooltips have heterogeneous types of contents:
- various glosses (eg. “Lire les textes”, “Calculer le lexique d’une requête”, “Construire une partition”…)
- the name of the command (eg. “Propriétés”, “Sous-corpus”, “Lexique”…)
This can trouble beginners UX and slow their learning curve of how to call the right commands from various places:
- a toolbar
- the main menu
- a contextual menu.
Solution
Set the toolbar buttons tooltips to the EXACT name of the command in the editors&view toolbars and in the contextual menus (eg. “Édition”, “Propriétés”, “Sous-corpus”, “Partition”, “Lexique”, “Index”…).
Every toolbar of TXM is concerned by this UI policy.
