Progression chart, link selection with edition (synchronous editor)
Link points selection of progression chart with edition browser and edition highlighting system (synchronous editor).
Behaviors
-
- on point selection:
- if a linked Edition editor already exists for the selected token, move to the right page and highlight “more” the selected token (all other token of the query must also be highlighted)
-
- on CTRL/CMD + double click:
- open an Edition editor using the queries of all the lines of the chart to highlight the token, highlight “more” the token of the line that has triggered the event and move to the page of the selected token
- split the editor area so the Progression chart and the new Edition are visible
- But, if a linked Concordance editor already exists for the selected token, the new Edition editor must be open in the area of this concordance editor
- TBD: define the behaviors when each synchronous editor is closed
Validation tests
The system permits to have one edition editor linked to the progression chart plus one concordance editor linked for each curve of the progression chart.
- a new edition editor must never be open if there’s already one linked to progression chart
Results
SJ: OK, Win 7 x64 and XP x86
BP: KO, Ubuntu, the cyclic selection with arrow keys seems to give
back the focus to the Edition editor making the functionality useless
